今回は、国立市の旭通り（駅近く）にあるアートイマジンギャラリーさん
の第4回アートイマジン芸術小品展をご紹介。
主題は「作品」の再定義（副題：芸術において「優れている」とは何か）。
代表の吉田さんは
「ギャラリーは少し特別な場所、という印象を
持たれている方が多いかと思いますが、
より身近にアートを体験できる場所・ギャラリーを、
アートを介したコミュニケーションの場であってほしい」
という想いを常々頭に置かれており、
さまざまなアートとの触れ方・距離感・楽しみ方を「提案」されています。
元々、アートイマジンギャラリーさんは、美術において、
「作る人も見る人も楽しめる、より多くの人が積極的に参加出来るコンペ」
とは何なのか、という理念を掲げ、「アートイマジン芸術小品展」を開催
するようになったそう。
アート作品の公開審査に立ち会える機会はあまりないかもしれません。
申込みされるアーティストの方々、アート作品を楽しむみなさん、
どちらにとっても貴重な機会になるのではないでしょうか。
