2016年10月30日（日）JR南武線谷保駅に念願のエレベーターが設置されました。
改札からパノラマでどうぞ。
左が南口（甲州街道、谷保天神方面）、右が北口（国立駅、一橋大学方面）です。
北口はこんな感じ。
南口は工事現場のようでまだカオスです。
というのも、南北自由通路の耐震補強工事は続いているからだそうで。

一部工事用幕に覆われていますが、エレベーターは絶賛稼働中です。
谷保天満宮や多摩障害者スポーツセンターの最寄り駅なのに、今まで階段しかなかった谷保駅。
これでますます便利になりますね。
